Upcoming European Cyber security events October 2019

October 2019 has already seen a number of cyber security events, like the Europol-Interpol Cybercrime Conference, from the 9th to the 11th of October. However, there are still a number of upcoming cyber security events in October 2019. Other than the Europol-Interpol conference they are open for all to attend. Thus, in case you have missed out so far, here is the list: 

October: 

CS3STHLM: October 21st-24th

• Location: Stockholm (Sweden)
• Description: With more than 40 Speakers and trainers this year, the annual Stockholm international summit on Cyber Security in SCADA and Industrial Control Systems gathers the most important stakeholders across critical processes and industries. Organised by Robert Malmgren and Erik Johansson, since 2014 the CS3THLM has become the premier ICS Security Summit in Northern Europe. The Summit is organised into one day of practical tutorials followed by two days of presentations by top speakers in the ICS field.
• For whom: Anyone working with or interested in securing control systems, critical infrastructure, automation and smart-grid.

European Cybersecurity Forum: October 29th-30th 

• Location: Krakow (Poland) 
• Description: Launched in 2015, CYBERSEC is a successful and well-established annual public policy conference dedicated to strategic security aspects of the global technology revolution. This years` event is co-financed by the NATO and has speakers like former NSA director Gen (Ret) Keith Alexander and Antonio Missiroli, NATO´s Assistant Secretary General for emerging Security challenges, amongst many others. The event is organised into a state and business stream, taking place on the first day and defence and future stream on the second day.
• For whom: Anyone interested in the cyber dimension. Moreover, the event is free for Academics, NGO members, public administration and uniformed services.
